Door locked - no key!

Hi All,

I have two set of keys for my European L300 : one for starting the car and one to open the driver door (I don't have a key for the other doors :) ). Unfortunately, I lost the key to open the door (when I went back from surfing) and now the car is in my garden with all my gear in and I cannot open it! Anyone would have a picture showing how the lock is made inside the door to see if I would have a chance to open it with a hinge? (maybe in a private message for obvious safety reasons)

I opened it I'll tell people who want to know how by PM (no need to do public advertisement for these sorts of things). Tomorrow, I'll change door locks.

I have a 1998 Delica 4x4 and the key with the remote locked itself in the car! Can anyone give me an idea on how to get into the car?

often times the key from an older toyota/datsun or other japanese import vehicle (must be old/used/worn key) will open the door of the l300! (some finesse and patience required)

I've used my 77 toyota corolla key to open my 90 starwagon and 86 delica !
