Thanks for everyone's help. I phoned around to every dealer in the Lower Mainland and no one had the green top L300 OEM Mitsubishi glow plugs but Coombs County had them no problem and shipped over very quick.

FWIW, my old glow plugs were the green tops and I would bet there is high likelihood that they were still the originals from Japan in 1991, so based on that and everyone's thoughts here I wouldn't mess with anything else and just get the green tops from Coombs County auto and have happy starts for the long run.

Word of warning - replacing them is probably simplest mechanical thing I've ever done on a vehicle, but watch out for the washers on the back two glow plugs falling off near the opening into the engine. I failed to grab one of the washers and when I pulled the glow plug out I saw how close the washer was to the hole. It could of basically fallen into the cylinder I guess. That would of sucked and I image would of necessitated opening up the head and using a magnet to try to pull er' out? Don't want to go there so look out. Otherwise a monkey could do it.

What about the L400?

Is it possible to get glow plugs locally through NAPA or Lordco for 1994+ L400's?
Or is the only option mail order (from UK) and/or local JDM supplier?
