Victoria BC Delica Parts Source!

Post by dvandoormaal »

Went in to replace my wipers and came across the stone-age arm-and-scew design on the wiper arms that all but elimiate the possibility of buying new wipers.

Enraged by this, I then went in to Burnside Lordco in Victoria on the off chance they may have something to help the situation. Rocked up to this random guy and explained my situation and he says "Oh ya you need the adaptors, we have those, I have a Delica and I have single handedly built a parts book and sourced suppliers!!

He the pulls out this book with a printer sheet in it of everything from brake pads and rotors, to shocks, to gaskets and seals for L300/L400 Delica and Pajero!

I picked my jaw up off the floor, bought my adaptors for like $8 as well as an alternator belt and thought "holy crap what a lucky break!!"

So if any Deli owners in Victoria need parts and dont want to drive up to Coombs, hit up Burnside Lordco and talke to Miles (I believe his name was, sorry very bad with names).

I'm from Ontario driving a '93 Super Exceed. It sure would be nice if that dude was able to offer that resource to everyone on here,, hint, hint........ 8-)

Actually, depending on how complete & concise it is, you could probable sell something like this to other members on this site. I know that most parts are available for these things if you have the correct part number. I've picked up oil filters and simialr stuff locally just by having the right part numbers....

What's the part number of the adapter if you still have it.
I will need one for my L400 when i go to change the wipers.

Pic of adaptors...

They work great so far, most satifying thing ever getting new wipers. Literally made me wish it would rain on a sunny day lol
