I posted something similar a couple years back. I found one person who appeared to have a Delica on the island, but after getting no response from pm's and emails, I figured they might have given it up.

You're driving a diesel and I'm sure that there are diesel mechs on the Rock. It has a "Robert Bosch VE-Type Distributor Pump"*, of which the Japanese are not the only ones to use it. I'd say what to look for is an honest, creative and experienced mechanic, the rest are details. inquire with more than one and use your gut is what I do. The fact that the steering wheel is on the right side has nothing to do with how she runs.
