Hello,
Haven't been posting here much lately. Here's an update on our 94 Delica L300.
Nausicaa served us well on our honeymoon this summer, A 7000km camping journey from Calgary west to Vancouver Island, North to SE Alaska, east to the Yukon, then south returning to Calgary via Jasper/Banff. Amazing trip and so very comfortable to use the van as a camper.
She performed extremely well, with exception to some of the massive passes between Lilooet and Whistler in 40 degree weather (yes, celsius), the temperature creeped up sometimes to 11 o clock, In these situations we simply pulled over, cooled the turbo and enjoyed the scenery for 20 minutes before going on our way.

Some photo's from the summer.
I've continued plugging away at the maintenance here and there, including:
-Fuel injectors tested and rebuilt
-block heater installed on the right side of the engine. Much less dinking around that way, though I bashed the core plug into the engine haha! but was able to get it out with a magnet.
-manual actuation switch for glow plugs
I've been mulling over a propane assisted injection system to improve fuel economy and power. Also trying to find an intercooler small enough to fit in the front too.
That's only if I have the time though, as we also conceived our first child in the Delica. If that's not livin the Van life, I don't know what is...
