Trails near Vancouver/Sea to Sky

Post by insideout »

With a recent "problem" with my Super Select, I would like to give my 4wd system a nice warm up because I think it hasn't been used much recently.

Where can I go near greater Vancouver/sea to sky area that is safe (i.e. not an active FSR with constant logging trucks) and isn't too difficult (I don't want to break something or get stranded)?

I have only lived here a few months, I don't have a backroads mapbook yet, and I am not famalier with the FSR in the sea to sky area.

Anything with a view or a river/lake would be a bonus for the significant other :-D

Pick up a backroads mapbook, full of nice roads. If I recall, on the way to squamish there's a few nice Lake drives.
