If anyone is interested, I found dashboard mats for the L300 and L400 on Ebay Australia for approx. $20AUS plus shipping.
I inquired if they would ship to Canada and they said yes, just pay the UK shipping rate.
They may help avoid dashboard cracking from direct sunlight.

Wish you had found out a few weeks ago, I just came back from Australia... 
Can you PM me the link or add it to this post, every vehicle in Australia have those mats and they are usually really well fitted (tight fit). Not that it would apply to the Delica but another great gadget they have is a UV window screen that fits on top of the upper part of the rear doors and alloys you to roll down your window and be protected from UV and bugs. Those I brought back for my other car
