Delica.us website?

Post by poochike »

Hello,

Has anyone ever purchased anything from the Delica.us site? I ordered something over 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't been shipped. Made all efforts to contact them regarding the issue, nothing but dead air.

Cheers

Sent an email for the lack of english translation on the site....which is actually a broken function....if they don't reply soon we should blacklist the site so otheres don't get burned.

Hey Big-Bird,

Thanks for checking out the site for me and posting what you found. I just received an email from the owner? Chris Green who says that I am the first person to order something from his site in over a year. The only reason he got back to me was because I requested a refund from PayPal and they pulled the funds back. He sent a picture of my item with the mailing slip attached and said it was being shipped tomorrow. The reason for the delay was the part had to be manufactured and that took time. I do believe him, but his lack of communication was definitely troubling especially since the website said he had the item in stock. I will not be buying from this site again and would not recommend it to anyone. Perhaps it was ok in the past, but since he's not getting much business I imagine he's not monitoring it very closely.

Cheers

Chris responded to my query 6 days later.....got it at 2:30am on May 19.

Says 'they' will look into the english translation feature on their website and get back to me when its running properly.

I agree, if it takes this long to reply to even a simple query it would make a buyer nervous.

What exactly did you order anyway that had to be 'made' for you?

Finally recieved my item today. It is a sliding door extension for my L400. Big fat tires won't let the door slide. It was a pricey item. On the site it says he has 100 units in stock so I was under the impression he didn't need to get it manufactured. It took 1 month to receive the item and it took 3 weeks for Chris to respond to my several queries. Once I complained via PayPal he responded right away. The one month to get it doesnt bug me now that I know it needed to be made. It's the 3 weeks of no response and my concern that I would be out the money that got to me.

wow, I'd be pissed too and the timeline from a "professional", well..that's insane!! I'm sorry to hear you went through all that trouble but thank god for forums like this so in some sense other delica owners have somewhat of a voice and can spread the word either good or bad. seems to be the ONLY downfall of owning such a sweet van is parts and service in north america, especially the further away a guy or gal lives from the west coast.
