delica owners meet n greet Saturday May 9 2015

so I am planning a delica owners meet n greet Saturday may 9 2015 starting around 5pm in the Walmart parking lot just off of deerfoot trail in deerfoot medows area Walmart, where they have the big gigantic ikea. Anyone who wants to attend, feel free to show up....good excuse to get out of the house and meet fellow delica owners, show off your rig, share future plans/mods or current mods etc....who knows maybe even try and plan a delica weekend camping trip.

anyways, if any you guys/gals are interested feel free to show up and hopefuly see you guys n gals there!!

I can likely make it. If the wife is into it, we can bring down our two Pajero's! We typically do our shopping run at the local Costco and Superstore.

I have a co-worker with a dead L400. If I can get his butt in gear to swap his alternator (we hope its the problem) then I'm sure he'd also be down.

well I feel like a turd, being the guy who called the meeting....I am troubleshooting why my van wont start after a few river crossings a few days ago so I have a 50/50 shot of making this meeting. I still would like to see this meet happen just because I might not be able to make it

So who is planning on attending this meet-up?? Im down in Lethbridge wondering if it will be worth my time to drive up to YYC for an afternoon. Love to meet up just wondering if this is going to be a bust or not.

Its too bad I missed you Big-Bird. I ran to get a drink, so I probably missed you just by a few minutes. But I sat around for an hour and a bit and nobody came along so i decided it must have been a bust. So this picture is good to see, even though we didn't run into each other, makes me feel like it wasn't a complete wast of my time!!

We will have to try this again one day when people will show up.

Just out of curiosity, how many 300's and 400's are in the Calgary Area that would attend something like this (if all things lined up)?

There are several dozen L400, L300 and even Pajeros.

Its too bad we didn't connect, I got stuck in the return line at Ikea for 25 minutes and when I got back you were gone

There are great units here in southern AB but so few have the time to gather even with lots of notice. We usually have more luck when there is a trail to drive...like this group 2 years ago. We had a great time. 4 delis, one mitsu pickup, one pajero and about 3 toyota Tacomas. We had lunch in the valley just outside Banff'S eastern park border.
