Just finnished my project bed platform for my upcoming roadie to Rosarito Mex. from Vancouver Island.
The platform is 2 pieces that suspend over the second row bench seat, which is folded flat underneath. The design allows for the front portion to be lifted and slid back on top of the rear portion so you can still use the second row seats and have a cargo platform behind.
Super happy with the result and built it strong for longevity with 4x4 legs and L brackets for support with the platform made from "good on one side" 5/8 plywood.
The design allows for lots of storage underneath in the back and sits a 20L jerry upright underneath so it doesn't slide around.
Simple 2 piece bed platform.
