Hello all,
I've recently acquired a 1990 L300 DELICA here in SW NB. Registered, safety done and insuring is next... Hope to have that sorted tomorrow. I'm slowly networking here in Atlantic Canada so if you're in my neck of the woods add me as a friend or say hi, etc.
Cheers,
Tatterhat

Tell us more about how and where you got your L300. I am in Quebec City, if you need any help while around here keep in touch. May myself go to Gaspésie Peninsula soon :)

Re: Newbie from New Brunswick
Hi again,
Well, this one is originally from BC, has been here in Charlotte County (SW NB) for about 3 years and seems to be in good shape for her age. I did a bit of body work and still need a repair or two for some incidentals. I'm totally new to these but I love the van already.
I was frustrated with my insurance company on friday when they seemed to suddenly have a ridiculous price for basic coverage. Now after researching online and with anyone else with a right hand drive I guess I should feel lucky they'll even do it it seems...? I certainly feel safe driving it. The mirrors it has been equipped with take any guess work out, plus the visibility in this thing is the best I've ever experienced in any vehicle, anywhere. I have no accidents or tickets to speak of in over 25 years of driving so I thought my agent was being a bit rash but now I see they just seem to loathe right hand drive across the board.
Anyhow, it's akin to the way they treat you for having a wood stove in a house... grrrrr!
When I figure out how to post an image here I'll do so :)
Super impressed with the existence of this site - Thanks to all behind it!!
