Anybody have issues with the interior lights not working, popping fuses? I tried isolating the circuit but found it difficult with the ridiculous amount of interior lights and ground switches. Haven't found a a decent wiring diagram either. Any ideas or common issues I'm unaware of?
I've been looking for a relay but can't seem to find one of them either.

Re: interior lights
That's not a common issue. The interior light circuit is relatively simple- the one fuse sends power to all the lamps directly with no relay, and all the lamps (including the 'door open' light in the dash) are connected to all the door switches for earth.
Does the fuse blow randomly, or only when you open a door? If the fuse blows randomly then it could be one of the power wires touching the body somewhere. Probably best to find that soon- if one wire has rubbed through on the body, then other wires are likely in the same condition. If I had to guess where the loom was most likely to rub through, I'd say in the front door flex tubes. If the rubber grommet ends come out then the loom can rub directly on the sheet metal. Second guess would be in the roof rail, especially if you have a sunroof.
If the fuse blows only when you open a door, it could be one of the lamp units shorting out internally. I've seen melted ones when someone fitted a bulb that was too hot.
I'd unplug all the lamp units, fit a new fuse, and then (if the fuse didn't blow immediately) plug the lamps in one by one until the fuse blew.

Re: interior lights
Fuse burns out immedietly
Ive unplugged all door lights
dash is removed
all lights in the roof have been removed
I basically have the main harness isolated.
I lose the harness at the base of the fire wall next to the hvac box where it runs into the floor .

Re: interior lights
Ok, so it's the harness has rubbed through somewhere.
Bad news: pretty much every arm of the harness has a powered interior light wire in it, so the short could be anywhere that the harness passes through or near sharp metal.
Like I said, the main suspect would be where the harness goes into each door, maybe even inside the door. Fairly easy to check with the dashboard out, but you might need to remove the door panels too. Other places to check are:
-in the air box under the drivers seat, where the harness goes through past the engine, follow that harness through the battery box, past the fuel filler, and into the rear step.
-remove the upper steel panel inside the radiator air intake (that's where the harness goes after it drops through the floor by the HVAC)
-in the roof near the rear view mirror- lots of sharp edges in there.
-Maybe in the rear roof lining at the edges, but not so likely.
good luck!
