WVO in Victoria

I use a bit of biocide in my 45 Gal drums and fill them all that way to the top with 10 micron filtered oil. We are supposed to be getting two 1000 liter containers in the next week. I'm planning on filling them with the oil from the 45 Gal drums, but now I'm beginning to wonder about the air space in the 1000L contributing to the spoiling. You think the biocide would keep that under control?

Hey Sean, what are you using to filter down to 5 microns? I've been using the goldenrod filters, but the smallest I've found for filter elements is 10 microns.

I'm new to the forum, thought I'd add to this old thread.
I'm running a vehicle in Victoria on wvo, but recently my source restaurant closed.

Does anyone have extra wvo in Greater Victoria? Central Island? I can buy, store, filter, pick up, you name it.

You could also just start a new post asking for oil in the WVO section
this time of year there should be lots around....

yup, i have a couple places that I would be happy to let go to someone else, I just dont have the time to pick it up from the one and they over cook it , so it makes expensive biodiesel, but should be fine for wvo, i had Quan and friend pick up about 800L from me a few weeks ago , im back up to a couple thousand L and with winter coming other wvo pirates will stop picking up from their sources and the restraunts will get stuck , like they do every year,
If you agree to pick up oil, make sure you do it....
