The airlift bags I have (had) are Airlift part number 61792.

HD torsion bars you have to order from overseas, just re-index the front t bars and that will give you the lift you need. Some people have balljoint spacers on the upper control arm, some do not. When you lift though, just make sure you either put a 2" spacer under the rear brake bias valve, or readjust it. I think Big-Bird did a write up on how to adjust it. Also, I believe Rocky Mountain Imports have rear sway bar end links that are longer than stock, so you can use them instead of spacing the rear end link mounting points.

Here's the info for the air bags.

Here’s the firestone site and their 1-800 number. Measure the inside diameter of your coil spring and give it to them. They will send you the correct size air bag.

They produce the torsion bars and springs and distribute to the likes of "Delicashop." Because DS has no rep in Canada we can buy through their international sales. Check their website for prices.
Their TB's have been on my Chamonix for nearly a year now and work great.
I'll be buying their rear coil springs shortly and removing the aluminum front and rear blocks I made.

Curious as to why your taking out your spacers and going with a longer spring? Just hoping for more resistance?

It's not a spacer but a 2" thick aluminum block above the rear coils. The rear coils have no life in them and continue to sag. Time for new coils.

NAPA is currently getting me a price list together for the land rover coils (they weren't sure about the part number FR-20HD I gave them and were looking into it) and the procomp shocks 915515 and 921520

can anyone link me to ball joint spacers?
I'd like to get everything installed at once.

I think I have the Land Rover coils (the blue ones?), Coombs used to sell them but they've not held up well. I have a set of their new custom lift springs on the way.

I will get into a group buy on the HD t-bars if there's enough people to make it worth it.

As for the spacers, did you check eBay? I've been locals (Canadians) selling L400 spacer kits, maybe you could get just the ball joint spacers from them?

Just a few questions, what's the cost of the coils from coombs? And how can you tell when it's time to replace your torsion bars?

I PM'd jessef and hopefully he gets back to me, and has just the ball joint spacers for sale.

In his thread advertising the lift kits he mentions:
** Recommended wider rims with larger tires :
- Wheel/Rim size : 15x7 or 15x8 with 3.75 to 4 " backspacing
- Maximum Tire size : 31x10.5x15

It doesn't specify if that's for and l300 or 400.

How will a 2" lifted van ride with factory rim's, and a narrow tall tire either in the 30-31" range? Would wheel spacers be an option? (I'd like to keep a factory look by maintaining the original rim's) I think it was mentioned on here somewhere that the minimum thickness spacer to clear the studs is 1.5 inch (verification?)

Including shipping to Ontario the coils were around $300, t-bars I think you'll notice that the front will start to sag and you'll have to re-index or crank them again. Mine dives a LOT under braking which is the main reason I'd like to get HD ones. I did see a lift kit on eBay.ca for sale as well.

My wheels are 15x8 with 3.75" backspacing and 31x10.5 r15 duratracs. The slider door rubs like a bastard but it looks neat. The consensus on wheel spacers is NO.

Maybe Firesong can say how it rides with a lift and stock tires etc? I think if you go to a big tire you have to get them pushed out so they don't rub on the inside of the fender wells under lock.

I talked to coombs today and got a price on the HD springs and ball joint spacers. Could only get one pair of shocks locally and coombs doesn't carry pro comps, so I'll have to source the other set elsewhere.
I really don't have any desire to run a wide tire, I've never been a fan of wide tires any of my other vehicles, and for my usual driving conditions. I guess I may not know if I'll get rub until I put them on??

Well it looks like I haven't got much choice in a 31x9.5r15 tire.. Not very common at all.

I'm going to pay my tire guy a visit when I get back from work and ask for his opinion. I don't think I'll go any narrower then stock, I'd like to keep it as close in stock width as possible, I just want to gain some sidewall

I've had one of Jesse's lift kits installed for 5 years or so. I just upgraded my tires. Went with a 30x9.5r15 from Kal Tire. Nice upgrade with out changing the rims or cutting /modifying the front.
