I'm wondering if anyone has re-habed their stick-shift with fresh bushings and washers to improve the stick feel. I've done a bit of web searching for threads but it always has to do with the internals of the Trans, not the cables and connective bits.
My shifter is kind of rough, and slightly looser in feel than it seems it should be. The Clutch engages fine and the gears themselves feel fine, it's just the physical act of shifting that seems worn out. I'm reading the manual about it now, and have the parts up on epic-data, just wondering if anybody's done it before.

So I came across this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=662 I think this is what i'm talking about. I'm gonna dig into the shifter and have a little look. When I decide to attempt this, i'm going to try to take a lot of pics.
