They're tuned more for offroad use, where they're very forgiving and almost comfortable. On the road they're a bit soft and bouncy, but you can go over speed humps (and small traffic islands) at full speed without incident

I have Pro Comp Explorer ES9000 (non-adjustable) shocks: part numbers 913515 rear and 919520 front. I have a 1.5" lift (balljoint spacer at the front, seats removed at the rear).

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

GB & LD
I use RS999005 rears with 17"-28" travel and RS999136 11"-16" travel on the front of my 2" body and ball joint raised L400. They have a life time replacement.
I've already replaced the fronts once for wearing out and one of the rear for an adjustment knob breaking while I adjusted it.
The adjustment knob is the weak link but Lordco seems to have no problem replacing the shock. Plus there was a $50 rebate when I purchased them. Price was @284/pair at Lordco with tax $636. keep your receipts......
No complaints here...

Shock Poll....who uses what brand?
Friends,
I am currently running pro comp 919520 in the rear and Monroe 550012 severe duty in front. Installed them 2 months ago and purchased all of them via Amazon prime here in America. So far I have put 1200 highway and gnarly NYC street miles on them. They have vastly improved the ride & stability of my van, particularly since I believe I removed what seemed to be the original shocks. I have found that they are now "breaking in" and provide a smooth ride all things considered.
I run Bilstein on my Land Cruiser and will probably give those a shot on the Delica in the not so distant future. I have found the bilsteins to be just right for my needs.
Regards

Great feedback guys!
I just placed an order for the Monroe's front and back (550012 and 37074). They'll be in tomorrow morning. This motivates me to push all the junk in the garage against the wall so I can squeeze the Deli in and do some work. It's too flipping cold to be doing this is in the driveway.

I use RS9000s both fore and aft. Only thing is I had to shave off the pin adapters on the rear axle and replace them with loop adapters to make them work. I had the work done at North Shore Off Road (off road supplier and garage in North Vancouver). The Rancho numbers that I have for my wagon are: RS9000XL(RS999188); RS9000XL(RS999151) ~ but remember, I replaced the mounts on my rear axle with loop instead of pin mounts.

New shocks are a beautiful thing!
I cranked up my T-Bars too. I got ratcheting wrenches for Xmas, and boy did they come in handy
Currently at 22" from mid-hub to the top of the wheel arch, gonna drive it around a bit and then check the height.

I have Ranchos front and back on a 98 L400. Turned driving from frightening to a real pleasure. Turn them softer for forest roads. Very satisfied. Don't have part numbers with me but message me if you are interested and I can post them.
