Just finished this upgrade and it feels great!. Still need to do four of the five steel braided lines though (rusty parts are not fun at all).
How does it work with a core charge when you are not returning the same type of caliper?
Also, if anyone is planning on doing the brake line upgrade, I have the russell fittings and brackets available as I accidentally bought double of all of them :( (just don't have the lines themselves)

Core Charge Question - Dual Piston Brake Upgrade
I did tryed to get the needed parts but some were hard to find...Would you mind giving the members the parts numbers/store were you bought, etc. ? In my case, was not able to fing the front disks...If I do not find any, will drop that project...after all, I am driving my L300 like an old man and feel ok with the stock setup...
Thanks

Core Charge Question - Dual Piston Brake Upgrade
I bought the same fittings/lines/brackets as here: http://dinoevo.de/brake-upgrade/
The fittings and lines were purchased from https://www.canadaautosupply.com/
Brake Lines:
4x Russell 656012 (9″) $21 each http://www.canadaautosupply.com/index.p ... s_id=72359
1x Russell 656062 (24″, shorter is fine if you don’t have a lift) $26 http://www.canadaautosupply.com/index.p ... s_id=72371
Brake Fittings:
8x Russell 641411 $13.50 per 2pack http://www.canadaautosupply.com/index.p ... s_id=72296
2x Russell 641431 $8.60 per 2 pack http://www.canadaautosupply.com/index.p ... s_id=72297
Brackets from Amazon.ca
2x Russell 683942 (90 degree bracket) $7 per 2 pack https://www.amazon.ca/Russell-Athletic- ... ell+683942
Steel Brake Line
2x 3/16 in. o.d. SAE inverted flare metric brake line with 2 pcs. M10 – 1.0 long tube nut fitting
Purchased from Lordco for about $16 for the pair of their smallest lines with the fittings already on them. I still had to cut, bend and flare them though.
Calipers/Rotors/Pads from Rockauto.com for a '92 Mitsubishi Montero. I called Lordco and Napa but they were still more expensive than rockauto after the shipping. Not sure if that was the best considering I don't know how easily I will get a core charge back.

Core Charge Question - Dual Piston Brake Upgrade
I followed rock autos instructions for sending back the cores on their website and had no troubles. Felt like I was getting away wish something as I was sending back some old beat up calipers but they didn't care

technically you have no cored because your cores are incorrect... however i just put mine in the box and sent em... they will end up in the scrap bin because the rebuilder has no reference to what they actually are.
As for the fitting.. just an fyi they are not required. A little bit of tweaking the factory bracket lines and fitting will all work. I would post picturea and a how to... but the image limit drives me nuts on this forum.
