I'm just working on a few things here. I have a '93 Super Exceed that has been great for the most part. Yesterday a friend and I fixed the passenger side window that came out of it's track. I'm a wannabe mechanic at best, so this little fix made me feel really good.
My actual mechanic noted on my last service that my fan was cracked all over due to age. I was able to source a great used one thanks to Craig at Bonsai Rides where I purchased my vehicle. I'm thinking about installing this fan myself and have been on here looking at older posts to see what this job might entail. Anyone tackled this job recently? Does it involve removing the rad and coolant lines? I would also like to tighten my belts while I'm in there as they are squeaking a little bit.
Tojo's post is incredible and the pics are fantastic. I've been following his, but not sure how far I have to go as far as stripping things down just to replace the fan.
I'm planning on taking my van on a trip to South Carolina for the last week of July, and I'd like to get in as best shape as possible for the trip. Even though my van is in excellent shape overall, I'm A little nervous as I've never driven it this far......
