Fuel gauge, temp gauge, tach, signals, not working. SOLVED: Short in reverse switch.

I took out the switch. the wires are sketchy as ^&%$#@. They're about to break off.

But wait!  I tested for continuity again and there is continuity between the blue red wire and ground with and without the lapse connected so therefore I have to find the ground a short between the bullet connecters and the rear lamps

Well the wires are now broken off the reverse switch so I put it back in and will order new reverse switch. The wiring harness seems clean all the way through so I don't know where that short is. So we have to figure out another time

PROBLEM SOLVED Installed new reverse switch. Everything works, doesn't short when I shift in to reverse.
