Auto Lock feature?

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Auto Lock feature?

Post by Caca »

I was wondering, you can open the locks to the 2 passenger doors when you use the key in the driver's side door. But the trunk is supposed to stay locked? I know I can unlock it from the button inside, but was wondering if the central lock not affecting the trunk was normal.

TIA
Cheers~

The tailgate lock is independent of the rest of the central locking circuit. Can be a real fag at times becuase you have to remember to unlock it, but I find it reassuring to know that I have the boot (trunk?) locked when I'm carrying all my tools in there....

I have fitted remote central locking to the Mystery Machine and I am thinking of wiring the tailgate lock into it as well (from the wiring at the back of the dash switch) so that it does unlock with the rest of the car....but I can still lock it manually from the dashboard if I want to...

Food for thought.

Thanks Mystery Machine~ Exactly what I wanted to know... I scared myself for a second thinking that maybe some wiring was faulty. But since that is the norm, it's alllll gooooooood~~~ :-D :M :M
