I'm Fred from Belgium, but I've got one year visa here in Canada.
I just bought a L300 Exceed 4D56 with 140 000 km.
I'm going to camperize it but before I have to fix some stuff (black smoke when I'm pushing hard,...).

Good idea to put a block heater in it if your going to stay in the Kamloops area, if it doesn't already have one!! If you need some one to bounce ideas off of give me a call.

Hi Folks,

I had to left Canada and came back in Belgium one year ago but I fell in love with the Delica (and Canada too).
So after a quite long search I finally found a Delica L300 in the South of France.
The frame was in really good shape (that was my main target) , RHD, automatic gear box, 4d56, Exceed with sunroof, 165000 km.
So here we come my "new" Delica :

The project is to change this little Deli to a little camping monster. I would like to add :

- Pop up roof (with a double bed)
- A fridge
- A small kitchen
- Shower
- Hot water tank
- Diesel heater
- Big diesel tank
- Etc,...

And fix and improve the mechanical part :) It's big big work but for the first time I've all tools I need. So i just have to find the time ans listen advice !
I've already drew the pop up roof (it'll be in aluminium) but I'm currently stuck with an engine issue.

So I'm going to post about that in right section !
