Hello Deli-Coholics, Such a Successful event tonight. I stopped counting at 21 Deli's .
Photos attached are from FalcoColumbarius .

Expect more photos from MarsGal and others.
Last Deli's sputtered away at 10:16 pm, Patty won the prize for both dirtiest deli, & farthest distance travelled to attend the meet, as he drove from Whistler. Thanks to Mark our Humble Administrator for the Mitsu-Maple sticker.
The Fix-It event tonight was adjusting the rear tail-gate gas shock attachments to increase the open tail gate height (adds about 5 or 6 inches to heights, no more smucked-in heads), at least 5 deli's got this simple / near-instant-gratification mod.
Everyone wants to do another Show & Tell soon. But want daylight so can really poke about and share ideas. I will post details for next meet on a different posting to get everyone's feedback.
Cheers Christine and Jay of the TardisDeli.

I had a great time meeting everyone and seeing all the great delicas. Learned some useful stuff, got some yummy rice crispy squares, and have a more useful rear door now :)
I didn't have my normal cameras with me and it was dark but I grabbed a few snapshots

Wow, what a turn out!!! Nice.
With at least 3 trips down to the big city planed for the next 6 weeks, we would gladly add a day to attend the next gathering. I only recognized four Delicas in the pictures, too cool.
Cheers,
Kevin

This was amazing! I was expecting 5 or 6 Delicas. Not a whole parking lot full!
One passer-by asked me if it was a car club. I had some food at McDonald's, but they didn't seem to notice the event in their parking lot.
Some pictures, for those who missed out: Many thanks to those who put it all together, and to those who showed up with their Delicas. I was delighted to be able to put names and faces together, both human and Delica Canadensis (which differs from the Japanese species because of its lights and reflectors).
We really must do this again. Maybe we should invite the media sometime? Good footage on the news would carry lots more weight than sending news releases saying that ICBC are smoking too much crack...

SMALL??? wow... I'm sure you have at least twice as many Delicas in that parking lot as we have in our entire city, and we've never had a meet of more than 4...it turn out a nice small get together deli-meet.

Nice work guys....looks like the planning paid off!
You'll find the next meet will be even bigger....they tend to grow somehow? (The 1st meet I arranged was 5, 2nd was 23, 3rd was 35.....eventually it was over 100!!!!)
Some nice shots. My guess is that everyone came away having met quite a few new people and everyone came away with some more ideas about what they want to do on their L300? I always do!
Looking forward to seeing shots of the next one - you ought to arrange one on a beach somewhere? BBQ's, dogs running wild, kids running wild etc...perfect Delica day!

Very bummed to have missed out, but did enjoy the performance of Exceedus Maximus in the mountains outside of Lumby (annual ice fishing trip). But I did take it a bit to quick on the way in...see dent in photo....maybe a body work lesson for the next show & tell???? eerrr...driving lesson!
Agree with Bruce - beach at Jericho / Spanish Banks would have lots of parking should the get together continue to grow.
Catch everyone next time hopefully!
