Difficult fuel filter change
I have a 1994 Strada with the 4D56T. I've tried two different brands of fuel filter, I have chased the filter threads with a tap, chased the filter housing threads with a die and it is still crazy hard to turn the filter until it is tight and sealed. I literally am using channellock oil filter pliers to crank it on while trying to minimize bending the filter. I've never experienced anything like this. Currently thinking about making a 3/16" spacer.... Has anyone ever encountered this and or have a possible solution?

Re: Difficult fuel filter change
I’m using Wix 51067 oil filters with no issues that you describe. Other than a cross threading, I couldn’t think of anything else.
