Re: WANTED Skid Plate
Hi, Me too I want a skid plate. Anyone else ??? Group custom job ???
There was a post (possibly an old one from Mystery Machine) with a diagram of one, yu could then make your own, but the angle bend in it makes it kinda tricky. Any CNC experts -- could it be cut in 3 separate flat sections then fastened together?
I was wondering about making it from that heavy aluminum mesh-like stair grating stuff, as maybe a bit more bendable with a bending machine, to ensure lotsa air flow but without the rocks and twigs.
We don't have the metal work machines, but I offer our yard and basement for group work on this project. And the cookies.
Cheers, Christine of the TardisDeli
