Where ?? Veggie OIL WVO Meet April ???

Hi Delistas, Moving this discussion now to Events (from General Discussion -- WVO Meet up early April).

I want to co-ordinate a Deli-Fryer Meet Up early April, as Manitoba Delica is visiting.

WHO ?? WHO has researched switch to WVO / altered the Delica / and WILL attend. We need a Show & Tell person. Sadly BC Delica is busy. Everyone welcome to attend, even non delica's (gasp horror).

WHERE ?? If the lower mainland, meet in Burnaby. or Princess Auto by Coquitlam IKea. But since many postings from mid-island, maybe needs to be there, and the interested mainlanders could carpool or walk-on via Nanaimo.

WHEN ? April 1st already has other events, but the WVO could be combined into them. Marameisto is organizing island day meet. Adrock organizing Harrison Lake roundtrip weekend. Best might be a separate date ?

What date in Early April do you prefer, preference # 1 ?

Meet mid-island ?
Meet bottom-island ?
Meet Lower Mainland ?

Yes, lotsa people interested, but can't make April. We will arrange another one later. This posting is just for Early April.

I could do any Island meet almost anytime. The mainland is a bit more of a pain, even when we are over there for other events.

I already mentioned that I would attend and either location. l'm from Vancouver area and don't mind to cross over... I think the weekend of Apr 5th should work (Saturday or Sunday?)

I am definitely more interested in meeting on the island, as my family and I will probably be hanging out on SaltSpring, Hornby, or Quadra at that time. Apr 5 works fine. If it needs to be later, I am flexible, but we will return to Manitoba before the 20th of April.

Hi Manitoba, When exactly do you plan to arrive? I presume you are driving Delica?

You are welcome to stay here in Burnaby on your way, and we can easily do a meet of 6 or 7 local Delicii with a day's notice. But not many running WVO here, as you see from the postings. Many of us will be away at Harrison Lake the weekend of 28 thru 30 March, do you want to join in?

Are you interested in a local Delica meet if we don't have WVO examples, or is that a big goal?

The Mid-island meet up on the Sunday 30 March might have more WVO, but are you in town then?

Let me know how the group can best help you. We will definitely do something 5 April somewhere, but just not sure how much WVO. Christine.

PS: There was a Saskatchewan plated White Delica in Vancouver some months ago, was that yours?
