Hey folks, I've been researching, shopping and compiling my own kit to switch onto WVO. I'm heading to BC soon, and hope to talk with folks about their WVO installs.. There was a very loose plan for the 5th of March on Van island... Should we revive that topic to solidify it. I will be installing my kit sometime shortly after that on Hornby or Denman, hopefully with some help... If anyone wants to help that would be awesome, as I will only bring limited tools, and limited skills... I would love to have it going in one day, so I'm giong to try to have some things mounted already, holes drilled etc...
My kit so far:
Moeller 19 Gal fuel tank - 26 L X 16 W X 11.25 H
Hotfox
Racor 900FH with 12V 300W internal heat kit
2 3-port valves from plantdrive
switches, hoses, wiring, tee's, etc... from Princess auto
Has anyone had experience with the racor 12V 300 W heater?? My only concern is too much draw from the alternator. It has a thermostat that kicks out at 165 F I believe. They sell it on Golden Fuel Systems..
Does anyone have experience with Hotfox on a poly tank?
Thanks for any tips, advice, warnings... I am ordering everything in the next 2 days, so happy to hear from you soon.......

April 5th...
I'm still interested to attend a WVO meet but would like to have someone present that is already using their system so that I can see/touch/ask...
I'm days away to purchase my kit so very interested as well.
Cheers.

I say secure an oil supply first before you spend the money. I am finding good oil hard to come by.
