Hi Everyone,
I have found and purchased the attached light bar from Ebay for approx. $200+; it is a molded plastic, but the light housing is metal with quite durable rubber seals; you adhere it via attached 3M tape on the base of the mold. Comes with standard relay/switch/wiring kit 55W each (comes in blue or white lights) I ordered white, but I have to wait for a second unit to be shipped as the first was damaged.
May not be the light bar for everyone, but I hate light racks; this is a little more sleek. As for fitting; I would recommend just behind the sunroof on the Super's; all others can mount where the front sunroof would be. I would also recommend that you purchase the one for the Grand Cherokee as it is 100cm wide (unfortunately, not quite wide enough to go in front of the sunroof). As for wiring; I'm not a fan of drilling into my roof and messing with the headliner; so I was going to attempt to run it down and through the antenna mount existing hole.
Cheers,
Joe

Re: light bar
Sweet. Looking forward to the mounted pics. Do you think behind the sunroof is not going to be too far back?
Jeep Grand Cherokee, eh? That is a nice light bar, got to say it. How did you figure that one - tape measure?

Re: light bar
It's further back than I would like, but I'm really only giving up the width of the sunroof.
And yes, I used a measuring tape and rolled the dice on this unit in terms of fit. I was hoping that I would be able to mount it
on the lip before the sunroof, but unfortunately the light bar unit needs to be a touch wider (approx. 6cm wider) to accommodate
the sunroof width and venting of the sunroof. One could possibly custom a fit; I have kept the original damaged unit, should anyone desire exact dimensions or an idea for a custom fit. Waiting for my replacement...
