strange rumbling

hi, everyone!

Looking for help with an engine problem - I have a royal exceed 2.5 diesel LWB . For the last couple of weeks , the engine right hand side looking makes a high pitch sound then after it s been running for maybe 5 to 10 k this sound disappears and is replaced by a throbbing that rumbles through the car - this happens in neutral as well as all drives. Any help or advice would be gratefully received .Thanks Mike

We may not be able to help you much, because L400s are not yet legal to import to Canada. All our Delicas are L300 Star Wagons. The first L400s will be eligible in 2009.
