Re: To the Mainland and back
That was me wandering around Nanaimo in a green over silver Super Exceed today. I exchanged waves/headlights with another Delica on 19A in Parksville, saw a Pajero in our little convoy, went up to Qualicum Beach, then drove back on 19. Saw a blue over white Delica in the morning on 19A in Nanaimo, but they ignored me.
The trip was to check out BC Ferries newest, Coastal Renaissance. The main feeling I got was a miniature Spirit of British Columbia. But I really like the way the main eating area and coffee lounge are at the very ends of the ship with the very best views. I just wonder what they'll do when it gets really busy in the summer and they want to kick people out of the restaurant so they can feed more people. Saw some porpoises in Georgia Strait, which I thought was rather cool.
Roof height isn't an issue on the new ships: The coffee lounge reminded me of 10 Forward. From overheard conversations, I wasn't the only one who thought this.

Re: To the Mainland and back
This is really odd, I drive a black over pearl Chamonix, I was on the 15:00hrs (3:00 pm) from Tsawwassen to Schwartz Bay on Friday and I was on the 5:00 pm (17:00 hrs) from Nanaimo to HSB on Saturday. I was also at the Victoria International Airport on Friday around five in the afternoon but I don't think this fits into the equation.Kathy Brian Seiko & Tundra wrote:noon or so at S Terminal parking lot at the airport, black chamonix

It's an 89, but yes, blue over white, with 2 beautiful pooches in the back (when they weren't out checking out the other dog smells in the "doggy area")Oceanhead wrote:t'was moi at the ferry. bringing back a load of musicians from a show in Van last night. the van is so much better when it's full of people! we had people jumping in and out the slider downtown all after noon. you were in a 90 or 91 blue over white?
