Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Oil Filters

Post by on.belay »

As a new Deli owner (6 weeks and I love it) I have been reading all the tech posts. I have been really interested in the oil filter ones. $35-40 plus taxes at Lordco seemed a little high to me so I did some sleuthing and found a great deal on Fram PH6355 filters. Unfortunately, in my excitement I bought all they had and have way more than I really need. If anyone is interested in having some of them for $25, send me PM.

As well, thank you everyone for the help on my headlights - especially Glen at CCAutos who figured it all out for me.

Nest issue. I put a top box on the Deli and now cant get up there to put anything in it. Does anyone know where one could find a ladder?

Cheers,
Marcel

Ya, as above Mardy just about always has oil, fuel, air filters and such knick knacks of routine maintenance. At very good price too.

These are all good filters.

Wix 51067 (Available at NAPA, and other Wix Retailers)
Baldwin BD28 (Union Tractor, Traction, or almost any truck/diesel parts shop)
FRAM PH6355 (most popular oil filter for 4d56)

I found the Baldwin and Wix to be better than the FRAM filter. The wix is also larger than the others. It's a nice big heavy filter.

Nice buy on the 6355's.

I've been told that some of these oil filters can be drained and used a second time, where as others e.g. Fram cannot. Is this so?

Japanoid had some for $175. Sold out at the moment, but you could call to see when more are coming.
