I know you have looked at the low pressure cut-out switch and ruled it out. However I was thinking yesterday that the clutch uses a low pressure switch (or temp switch) to engage the clutch and a high pressure switch (or temp switch) to shut it off. Remember the clutch cycles on and off. When you select Air conditioning you should get:
1. AC clutch engages
2. High idle solenoid kicks in (1100 rpm)
3. As cold air comes out of the vent the compressor cycles off and on automatically.
I think you may have a problem with whatever is used to cycle the ac compressor off and on. Sorry I am not used to trouble shooting automotive AC systems. I only know how air cycle machines work on transport category aircraft. (no freon)
Anybody know what this is ?

Sent a pdf to your e-mail listed in your profile. Has loads of information. Montero and Dodge ram info and diagrams. Hopefully the Delica will be similar. If I knew how to post it I would.
