Monster fender flares

Post by jessef »

Anyone have these or has seen them on Deli's here ?

3.5" width. These things are huge.

Almost looks like Mystery Machine's.

Granola and Marshmellow are both ready on tues or wed.

With my luck. They'll both have to be picked up on the same day

Flares will have to wait until we decide which Delica to keep and whether they need to be painted (for Chamonix) or not (for Mashmellow).

I may not end up using them at all depending on whether I deem them useful or not.

But any mod's I do, I'll post.

Much thanks to this forum and the guys that have given me sage advice ! :M :-D

ccautos has got flares on his ride. Don't know if they're 3.5 inches wide or not, but he does have fender flares.

Are those the 300AUD fender flares from Delica Parts? Did you order them in from there, or get them locally through one of the part suppliers in the Lower Mainland?

And do I understand correctly, did you buy fender flares BEFORE you bought a van? Sort of a cart-ahead-of-the-horse thing going on there? Or was it a way of pitching it to the bank (read: wife): "Well honey, I bought these, so now I NEED a van to put them on..."

the flares are $299, and the extension hinges are back ordered. but this is the last set of flares for a while, as they are not easy to find any more, The load I brought in that these were included in, were the last set the company was making for the L300 due to the age.

Did you offer to buy the molds off them? If they are retiring them you might be able to get them for a cheap enough price to make it worthwhile.

Hi, I thought about that, but I bearly have time now to have dinner with the wife on a regular basis as things are, I dont really have the time to be doing fiberglass molds. but a great idea if someone wants to use these to make there own molds and get working.

I just received Granola (Chamonix) and we may keep that one and sell Marshmellow (white s exceed).

If so, I'll be selling these flares as well.

I'll post in the parts next week.
