Heavy Duty Ladder rack for sale

Post by BCDelica »

A heavy duty ladder rack, sized for a Delica or other small van. Painted black.

Special Delica.ca price just $50! For extra $$ could provide 28' and 20' foot fiberglass ladders (in picture), complete with pole straps and hooks. Galvanized van tool bins available also.

For a little extra can include the WVO powered Delica

And for a little more... lol

Kevin, I might grab one of those ladders if you decide to visit the mainland this summer...
and for a little more I'll even let you clean my house roof!

The rack wouldn't fit a high roof with modifing.

Josh are your interested in just the rack or the ladders? Cause a delivery might be possible, only would get burned for the overheight. That always burns me as the Deli get parked in the high zone anyway.

Kev,

I was thinking just the rack... I cant justify ladders at this point (if it was a year from now I'd be all over it!). I think maybe its not a good idea for now anyhow, till we find a place to live again. We have been house sitting since October, and homeless as of mid July. But it was a good idea.

Have you sold your vans yet? If not, do you think you would have more success selling them unconverted, and maybe giving up all your WVO stuff separately?

Anyhow, I am about to go for breakfast with James and am going to try to quickly post a few pics of my new rides (yes plural, although only one is a Delica).

Talk soon.

The package hasn't sold yet, within in a month we'll detail them and advertise more. Show people how good of a deal it really is; but it wouldn't take long to convert them back though who'd want a switchable, auxiliary diesel tank in there Delica anyways. Why use free recycled fuel when you could buy mine and spend $130 plus filling it up with dino-diesel. Down the road we'll sell separately but it won't be a good deal like now. A common request to the ad is wanting to buy our processing equipment.

Received an offer for a news interview, interested in our 2 WVO Delicas for sale. Now that'd be good advertising.

The ladder rack works great for caring canoe's and lumber, so you think about it buddy.

Ciao,
Kevin

Kev,

I am astounded you havent sold them yet... i am tempted to sell mine and buy both of yours (but I am afraid Rose would kill me!). Anyone who reads this, buy them, they are gorgeous and a steal... and at current fuel prices, you'd have them payed for by christmas!

oh yeah, and the $50 rack, like the post is about... its a great deal also! lol

I have to put in my $0.02

My wife and I drove from the Delicanagan valley for the sole purpose of checking out these vans...we were VERY tempted to sell my wife's current Delica and my current Nissan Safari to purchase both of Kevin's WVO rides...and in the end it was nothing to do with the screaming deal these vehicles would have been. I won't bore you all with our reasoning for keeping what we have, but will say this:

Whoever it be that buys into these two vans is going to be laughing at all of us fools paying 1 1/2 limbs for a fill of dino...Kev and his family are very welcoming people...accommodating and very down to earth...a pleasant change from the Okanagan attitude...And just so you all know...I haven't stopped looking at ways and reasons to buy these two vans...so there IS potential competition waiting in the background ;)

Kevin has taken the time and put in the effort to make these installs neat, tidy and easy to maintain...he has obviously got a knack for this kind of thing and coupled with his training, he has put the kind of quality into both of these installs that you would only find from someone who is passionate about what he does. He takes pride, and it shows.

The filling station set up has all the necessities to keep your oil flowing all year long, and with the simplicity of it all, it will make the taking home and setting up process a breeze. I have seen a few WVO set ups now and am always amazed at how simple the oil filtering/storing/distributing deal is...it really is NOT any kind of big deal...and with the literature available online now days, there is plenty of room for the novice to tweak his/her own fuel to their liking.

Although we chose to keep our vehicles and convert them ourselves (long story short we both got what we wanted when we bought these RHD imports...so trading them to two vans just wasn't what we really wanted in the end.), I wouldn't hesitate for a second to revisit the Sunshine Coast again to take another test spin...shoot the breeze with a knowledgeable dude, and maybe stay a little longer to sip some suds the next time...

Late summer, eh?...I best start making plans. ;)

Cheers all...and Kevin...You have a pretty HUGE list of extras going on now...maybe it's time to revamp your add to all us Delica.ca readers with perhaps options...1)two vans with oil station...2)two vans/ oil station/camping gear...3)two vans/oil station/camping gear/work gear...4)two vans/oil stn./camp gear/work gear/offroad gear...

Just an idea I had...thought I'd drop it here while it was on my mind...but hey...that's not to say it's a good idea...just...an idea...lol

Ok...again...cheers all...

Delicanagan.

p.s. I always feel a bit uncomfortable saying this kind of thing to a dude...but, Kevin, nice rack.

Josh, Delicanagan, and Jesse; you guys are too kind. Thank you for the nice words, reading the morning computer doesn't usually cause me to blush.

Would think I'm a terrible salesman; we are crazy busy being away from home and will continue so for the next three weeks. Our only available free time (home) from the 3 to the 7th, of July, and so wanted to head up north for the Delica meet (For some reason Randi's convinced Josh and James are just the greatest guys). Our working 17/18 year old convinced us to stay home for her birthday during that time, so sadly we won't make the meet. When we have our affairs in order, the other 3 in our household plan (want) to do a week plus Hwy 16 trip late in July. We are off today and even have to reschedule an appointment to repair/repaint that one little blemish on Randi's van. My van just got in from a week of fishing in the boo. Long and short of it getting these two vans to sit still, spotlessly cleaned, is tougher then would have thought.

Also the ladders, and happily some expensive cable guy gear is spoken for. The rack is still available for that price to the most excellent Delica.ca crew;

will include delivery for the cost of over height on BC Ferries, $20 I think. Or Maybe cost of over height (edit-) or a real nice bottle of Tequila?

Super Duper Regards,
Kevin

Bump, as the rack is still available.

Three people looked at it in the last two weeks, all wanting a rack for a full sized van but liking the advertised price of $100; and wanting to 'make it work for a full sized'.

I still have this, last chance; make me an offer and get a even better deal. Yes it is in Powell River, and now with only a single Delica (a high roof) I can't deliver it.

Anyone?
