We're in. Lots of places around Cultus and Chilliwack lakes too. But where ever is decided is cool.

Re: Mainland June meet
I'm in. Since I live in Cultus Lake, I'll say that there are a few places around that might serve our purpose, but I would rather leave this rat race and nasty summer traffic behind and go to Chilliwack lake or even up to Mt. Cheam. It's a 4x4 road and a very beautiful 4 hour hike to the peak. Hicks lake out by harrison, Othello tunnels, Whonnock lake in Maple Ridge, Rolly lake in Mission, Allouette lake (sp), etc... Just have a browse in the Backroad Map Book to find a nice location.

Was that yours I saw parked outside Sunnyside Gatehouse a couple weeks back?kidwrecked wrote:I'm in. Since I live in Cultus Lake.
I agree on Chipmunk Trail (Mt Cheam Rd) I posted some winter pics from up there a while ago. http://www.delica.ca/forum/beginning-of ... -1511.html I see the snows been melting fast this past week.
Cheers
Tom

Re: Mainland June meet
Yes it was. My wife works at the gate house, so it parks there alot.
I prefer camping in the out of the way places better than in public sites, so Mt. Cheam or up the Tamahi area is nice.
The only problem is we probably won't be able to camp due to work schedules but would love to stop by for a day visit and meet everyone.

Hehehe, the first time I read the location I read Cthulhu lake!
"While at lake Cthulhu, be sure to have a snack at the R'lyeh diner!"
I'll go back to my corner now

Ahhh.... I've seen it as we go by to go for our walk up Tea Pot. More people this end of the valley need to get a Delica. We'd love to go, but are booked for this month of weekends.Yes it was. My wife works at the gate house, so it parks there alot.

Oh ho! Another cthonic dweller in the depths! Who woulda thunk it? Thought I was the only one. Well met, sir, well met. Though I'm sure you and I are probably the only ones here who can grok this particular scene, I'll ask my standard question anyways: "Cthulhu v. Nyarlathotep ultimate Cyclopean cage match w/Yog-Sothoth refereeing... who takes the Eldritch Cup?" And no peering through the sickening angles of the Shining Trapezohedron into the future for yer answer, either.delica 304 wrote:Hehehe, the first time I read the location I read Cthulhu lake!
