I want manual hubs as well. I have them on my faithful old Nissan and never found having to lock them outside by hand an inconvenience at all, but then I would rather have manual windows too... What is involved in switching the hubs? Can't be too tricky, or...

Probably something I should just take to ccautos and get the change done at her fall tune-up, or maybe sooner... The autos I have now don't make any audible click on or off. The 4 high and low work fine and she switches back into 2 wheel. Permanently locked? And when I first tested the 4x4 the dash light flickered a bit then stopped altogether. I am assuming this is an issue with the wiring / bulb and don't really care if there is a dash-light to tell me I am in 4x4. More reason to get those manual hubs!
