Oh, and the mentally ill seem to really have a thing for the van. And I mean that respectfully. Crazy street men often gawk and give the thumbs up or approach me and ask the regular questions e.g. "Bet she's good in the bush, eh?" I think it might be the space-age look of the white van with spoiler.

I've only seen 2 Delicas whilst driving Bork. And that was in 2 days. Weird. There's not many around in Calgary, so the novelty has yet to wear off perhaps.

Bork gets a lot of attention while driving, the double take is something you get used to, and people always like to ask questions. I think people like the karaoke unit the best, so very Japanese.

The funniest is when someone in a fancy sports car stares...

I've seen two different looks while driving Gumdrop: the "who's driving?!" look, and the "what is that?" look. They are noticeably different.

I have just seen eight Delicas in North Van today. I don't recall ever seeing that many in one day, let alone in one area. Some wave back, some look at you waving like you are.... "weird"... and some just ignore you... smiles. Reminds me of driving through Coombs. I am curious who the blond girl with the dark glasses was in the white Deli heading west on 19th at Lonsdale around 11:00hrs. She waved back.
