I got it!

Post by Shepherd »

Did you know that it takes a month and a half to get a Delica from B.C. to Saskatchewan. Yes because of weather and then the rail strike and more litle blips allong the way. Any way I picked it up this afternoon and drove home from Regina. It was slipery roads and the tires that came on the van are these litle tiny summer things. The Delica runs great. It has a rust hole on the pasenger side door. I got to fix that soon. and a couple other dings here and there. Mecanicaly its awsome. The paint is worn off the roof. Know I will have some questions. I am looking foward to getting the van ready for its provincial inspection.
Well I could go on and on but I wont.

Awesome, 8) you must be relieved that the wait is over. Mine had worn out paint on the roof too, not sure if it was just left outside for 15 years, or if was tarped, or what. Let us know how the inspection goes, i'd bet it would be the first Deli in SK eh? Have fun! :D

Good luck Shepherd,

Would have been quicker to get a one way flight to Van and drive the Deli home.
