How about this one? I figure that it is only in 4 high, and not in 4 low, otherwise I am shocked that it struggled so much. I find our little beast is useless in tough terrain when its in 4 high. But 4 low, nothing can stop it.

Bad driving and wrong tyres.

Why would you put your wheel against a step then accelerate?? Momentum is the key and he didn't have any! Back up 10 to 15 feet then take a steady run at it. You'll bounce and bump.....but you'll make it easily.

That slope wasn't that steep and the steps weren't that tall either. People shouldn't off-road motors they are worried about about hurting (not intentionally....but you have to be prepared for the odd knock) and in this case, the guy is more of a 'shiney' than an 'off-roader'.

I happen to know him and most of the others in that video! The one with the black RalliArt jacket is the biggest shiney I've ever come across. He wouldn't even take his motor through a ford because he didn't want to get it wet! This is one of the main reasons I only off-road with a particular club with only 30 members.....we don't mind getting stuck in and we make sure our vehicles are capable of handling the terrain as best as possible.

A trip like that would drive me NUTS having to wait for shineys to make sure their motor is OK!! You'd never catch me out on a laning trip with that lot. It only takes one person who doesn't know what they are doing to ruin an otherwise amazing day.

Rant over!

Breathe Bruce, breathe.

This one's a bit of a tear-jerker, but it does epitomize our love for these vans...

Bad driving and wrong tyres.
more of the former and less of the later I would say... That was painful to watch!
I far too often watch people who have no clue how to drive and then blame the road conditions, or the vehicle, or anything but their own incompetence... That fellow really needs to learn to drive!
