Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Maintenance schedule?

Post by mararmeisto »

Okay, so this question has been asked a couple of times, with little more than the 'oil/filter change', 'air filter change' and 'timing belt change' responses. I'm trying to put together a spreadsheet which will account for/predict maintenance done/required. I know this is a little neurotic for some, but I like things laid out 'on the chart' as it were and since I didn't get an maintenance schedule tucked away inside my glove box I'm a little out of my element.

This is what I know so far:
  • -oil/filter change: 5000km
    -air filter change: 10000km
-fuel filter change: 10000 or 20000km
    -tire rotation: 10000km
    -timing belt change: 80000km
Still looking for information on: coolant change, transmission fluid change, hub regreasing, differential oil change and anything else that is based on time-based maintenance. If someone has a maintenance schedule, posting of a scan of the schedule would be appreciated (I might be able to fumble my way through a translation).

Any amendments or additions are greatly appreciated and I'll share the spreadsheet once I'm done. Keep in mind this is the for the driveway mechanic.

coolant change - 20,000
transmission fluid change - 20,000
hub regreasing - 10,000
differential oil change 6-10,000 depending on offroading/submarining
transfer case oil change 10,000
fuel filter change 4-5,000
oil filter change 5,000
wheel bearing/seals change 15-20,000 depending on play/grease
u-joints change 10,000 or 1 year depending on play / same with balljoints / bushings
air filter change - 5,000
full tune up/timing/pulleys/belts/pumps - 80,000

this is my ballpark one.

hI, This is my theory for maintenace for delica:
change oil every 4,500 to max 5,000 kms used good oil not cheap one
Change transmission oil & filter every 25,000 kms
front diff , mid transfercase , rear end, fuel filter at 25,000 kms
air filter =every 20,000 kms.
timing belt, tensioner bearing, seals , water pump, thermosthat ,used the original one, every 80 to max 85 kms. as the small belt tensioner is the one who always have crack on it not much on the big one.
anti freeze should be max 11/2 yrs depend on the mileage used.
adjust valve every 50 kms .
change the valve cover also when you adjust the valve.
hope this is for now.
cheers;
