Summer trek

Post by asorensen »

Hi there being a teacher I am fortunate enough to have some freedom in the summer to do a little trekking. I still have to work because contrary to some peoples belief teachers do not get huge salaries. We travelled down island this evening and are staying at my parents in Qualicum this evening. We will continue on to Naniamo tomorrow then Langley for a week or so then Quesnel for a week or so then down south to Oregon. Which brings me to my reason for sharing this information in this particular section: does anyone have any veggie oil that they would be willing to part with/sell at any of the stops or locations along the way? Hopefully this doesn't seem totally opportunistic or taking advantage of the community.

Again the dates are: Naniamo Saturday June 28
Langley(or Vancouver area) From June 29th to July 12th
North to Quesnel 12th to About the 20th
South back through Vancouver around the 21st

I obviously would be willing to pay for the veggie with the price of diesel so high!

Thanks

Andy

Andy,
Just give me a call once you arrive in Vancouver. I'll help you out, I've got over 100 gallons of filtered oil as we speak!
Just PM me if you're interested.

Hi Andy, Delicat is the one I would suggest, and I see he has already replied.

If you need a place to stay in Burnaby, we live 3 minutes south of Cariboo Exit from Freeway, we have a guest room, and secure yard & tools for Delica.

Cheers, Christine.

Well I had the privilege of meeting meeting David (aka delicat) and filling up with veggie oil.
He has a great, clean system and I was pretty thrilled to be be able to fill up away from home.
Nice talking with you David and Thank you again.
