Importing a Delica. Things I need to do?
I have a Delica coming in from Japan in a couple of weeks. Is there anything I need to do to the vehicle before I insure it? I have heard it will need to have new lights and tires but Mark from Brave Auto said that he wasn't aware of anything. Anyone?

#1 thing to do is learn how to use the search function jerkoff.

Just kidding, really
What I don't get is can MC here show up at the importers with temp insurance and drive it back to the Island to get CC Auto to work on, or does he need to replace the headlights and have DOT tires on it before he can drive anywhere?

You can buy insurance for one single temporary A -> B drive.
Most people buy it for (A) docks -> (B) mechanic/shop/home to do the compliance work and OOP.
If you are unsure about the process, I would recommend to talk to Mardy at Amazing Auto.
