Hi Glenn,
I don't know a lot about the Gas (petrol
) L300's because they are virtually non-existent here in the UK (due to cost of running a thirsty petrol @ $2.16 litre!!!
)
What engine code has it got? Is it the 4G63 2.0 litre or the 4G64 2.4 litre? chassis code I'm guessing is something along the lines of P24W/P34W??
If you can give me a little more info (i.e. everything off the VIN plate) I'll see what I can find for you... :D
Maybe see you in a few weeks.... 8)
Regards,
Bruce.

Gas
Would it possibly have the same engine that the Van Wagons had which were sold in the United States?

Is it the 2350cc 4G64 engine? If so, "Autobarn Parts" shows many many part numbers for that vehicle. (1990 Mitsubishi Van Wagon).

If it is the 4G64 (which is most probable because I think this was the most common gas engine in Japan for the L300) then these cars also share the same basic engine (albeit in different states of tune!)
ANOTHER reason to leave these shores.....cheaper gas = more willing to put some proper power through the Mystery Machine!

Gas engines
The one I have is a 4G64 2.4l gas . I was not looking for technical specs as I do have the manual . I am looking to see if anyone owns one and what sort of known problems arise with this set up . I do like the idea of tuning it though ....... hmmmm a high performance Delica , maybe I should look at lowering this one instead of trying to lift it ???

If you're going to the meet - I'll give you the 'low down' (literally!) on the low-rider project that Mark Giles and I are planning!ccautos wrote:maybe I should look at lowering this one instead of trying to lift it ???

Cheers for now,
