Yesterday, Sunday 31st.
The most Delicas I've seen in one day.
Very cool! And hi back to all.

The crazy thing is... On an average weekend in the whistler parking lot, you could find at least 10 Deli's.. Drive squamish to Whistler anytime of the day, and you'll pass one or two almost for certain.
Pretty popular these days...

saw about 8 delis on the sea to sky yesterday, and about 4 in downtown Vancouver. WOW. they are getting really popular! Would be fun to sort of wave at each other as we pass, but noone really does!

Well, we always try too, but sometimes your just not focussed directly on the cars coming the other way - at least that's what we tell ourselves when we pass another deli and don't get a return waveWould be fun to sort of wave at each other as we pass, but noone really does!

Happy Day!

I can totally agree - was sitting at a red light at Grand Blvd & 19th St - Nvan on Friday morning and a sky blue & white deli stopped beside me...I was so focused on the red light and/or totally lost in thought, and my kids started yelling in the back "dad, he's waving" and I couldn't figure out who the heck they were talking about up until the moment the other deli drove away...so, sorry to the light blue and white deli near Lynn Valley...I shouldn't be allowed to drive without that first coffee in me!!!!

Re: From Vancouver to Whistler.
I drove around up Cache Creek over the weekend and came back via Duffy Lake. By the time I got to Lonsdale I was up to 6 Delicas.
I'll post some pictures later. The most bizarre event of the trip was gassing up in Merritt (I went to Cache Creek via the Coquihalla to Merritt, then 97C through Logan Lake and Ashcroft), when a Lamborghini Murciélago pulled up to the next gas pump. Followed by a Diablo, a Gallardo, a Ferrari 430 and an Enzo. An outing put together by ZR Auto of Calgary. The Enzo is the owner's own car. The Gallardo (pistachio green; many seem to be that colour) had a very loud aftermarket exhaust that made its V10 sound even nastier than usual.
I'm reminded of what 5th Gear said about one of the faster Lamborghinis, that you could break every speed limit in the country in 1st gear, and the only purpose of the other gears was how angry the cops would be with you when they pulled you over.

Re: From Vancouver to Whistler.
Wonder if it was them we saw on sat morning.
Driving along the causeway through Stanley park heading north towards the lions gate bridge. Around 8am.
11 ferrari's , 4 lambo's , 2 mclaren's and a pair of F1-looking customs something or other's.
Maryna said she stopped breathing for 12 secs as they all zipped past. Quite a sight.
May have been filming a movie or something.
Another note. Counted 23 Delica's
from leaving our house sat morning in Kits up to Whistler at 11am on sat.
Anyone I talk to nowaday's in Van say that they are so common now and every day they think they're mistaken for me.
The uniqueness and rarity of Delica's in the lower mainland is pretty much gone. The fat lady has sung !
Regardless. They are one the most functional vehicles out there.

Re: From Vancouver to Whistler.
I think a co-worker told me they were on the Banff-Jasper Highway last Wednesday as well, think they drove by Crowfoot viewpoint around the time a faller had a tree fall on him a and was pinned, hopefully it wasn't because he was distracted!
