Rear Stabilizer Link Kit

Post by piyeguyo »

Hi

My new mechanic (Kirkham Auto) told me I need to get the "Rear Stabilizer Link" Kit. (SwayBar Link)

I thought I needed to import this kit, but I read somewhere in the forum that there's a Napa part compatible: Napa Part Stabilizer Link Kit #265-1299

Can anybody please confirm this is right...

Thx,

Fabio

Any reason why he said you need to get it ?

Most people I know have taken them off.

Are you looking for the entire sway bar linkage/bar/brackets or just the bushings ?

He said the van needed a new one.

I don't even know what this is...

New mechanic eh? Best air on the cautious side and get a reason/explanation. Make sure that you fully understand the 'why' before going any further.
