Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

cold starting problem

Post by twisted »

Hey everyone. Now that it is starting to get cold here in Alberta I am having a bit of trouble with morning start ups. I have changed glowplugs and it has not changed anything. The van also has an issue holding speed up hill. I am starting to think that it may all be due to injection pump timeing. Can anyone conferm this for me?

well when ever i post this type of topic i get a gajilion people saying its the injector or injector timing so it probably is. mind you i had my cleaned and the injector rebuilt about 5 months ago and it still sucks at starting in the cold. hopefully my newley installed block heater from mardy this past weekend will change that, out to the deli now to find out!

Search the forum for issues related to the ECU (or 'ECM'). There is a very high probability that is your issue, because the capacitors used in early 90's Mitsubishi vehicles turned out to be faulty with a life span often as short as 6 years.
