Duffy Lake
This was a couple of weeks ago...I wanted to take Gumdrop over the Duffy Lake Road before freezup. I drove up to Cache Creek via Merritt, Logan Lake and Ashcroft (an interesting drive in its own right), stayed overnight in Cache Creek, and headed back the next morning.

While fueling up at a gas station in Merritt a bunch of exotic cars came through. Gumdrop was not used to being upstaged like this! The red car is a Lamborghini Diablo; the silver one is a Ferrari F355. Other members of the convoy included a Ferrari Enzo, a Lamborghini Murcielago, and a Lamborghini Gallardo.

No, the yellow pump in the middle of the island is diesel. This is clearer in this picture: I figure you could do the Coquihalla in about 45 minutes in that thing.snelson wrote:Hey...Gumdrop is a gasoline engine??

Re: Duffy Lake
Sounds like a nice trip!
What's interesting tho is that there is a contradiction in there somewhere with most of those cars exceeding 1 or 2 hundred G's or in the instance of the Enzo... 1 Million... where do they fuel up?.... Super Save! Kinda funny.
Gumdrop makes the yellow Lambo look HUGE!

Looks like a great trip! I did it by motorbike in the summer and did the vancouver - pemberton - hope loop with the delica a few months ago. Stopped at the same gas stations and scenic spots as you did it looks like!
