Need a little input...

Of a different sort!

As some of you guys know, I'm an Aussie who has come to Canada for a while, and I want (need) to get a van next year sometime.

To keep myself occupied between times, I've just finished constructing a new site for folks like myself coming across from Aus in order to give them a help out from some of our experience - kinda inspired by this site amongst others :)

If anyone happens to have a bit of downtime at work or something today and could have a glance at the site, that would be fantastic - I figure most of you are locals to Canada (ha!), so if I've got any bad or dodgy information in there, then you can let me know and I'll fix it before I do a proper release to the unwashed masses - the other Aussies out there!

If you have anything you want to add to the site, bang it in the forum or let me know here so I can do it... and if you happen to have any trips the Aussies might find interesting, please feel free to add them in! It's a little sparse in the forum at the moment...

Good on ya! I work with an Aussie, I know he could have used info like that before come over, especially about the cold! I on the other hand had no choice in the matter, my mum and dad ripped me from the bossom's of all koalas and roo's. Good site.

Hmmm, will look into the google apps key - I thought I'd already put one in there...

Edit: fixed - I forgot that you can use a key for one URL only, so just had to get another one after I moved CanAussie out of the test site.

Ok...this is just another awesome example of the power and positive use of the internet!.
I'm committed to my job, my wife, kids, and the bank who really is the true owner of my home.
But, if I had seen something like this when I was 20 or so - and in reverse - ie, working in Australia - or elsewhere...I would have followed it step by step.
Good for you setting this up - I didn't have time to get into it in detail, but love the idea and it's awesome good Karma for sure!

It's amazing the whole thing came about because I couldn't be bothered writing the same email over and over again to people who were talking about coming across!
