1991, Mitsubishi Delica, Super exceed, star wagon.
This right hand Japanese import approved for our streets by ICBC, has 180,437.ish km. I bought it from Vancouver Island Custom Car imports in march of 07. I bought it with 163,184 km. It was in close to perfect condition then and nothing has changed except I have added a class 3 hitch to carry a Thule, swing away bicycle carrier (which will come with the van), and a full sized very comfy custom bed which now occupies the space where the last bench seat was. I still have the bench seat if you would rather the extra seats.
This white Delica has the extra height in the roof and has crystal light windows. No leaks.
I have also recently replaced the batteries and installed a new alpine stereo. I have loved owning this van and wouldn’t be considering it had I not the need for the money.
The money. 11,000.00 firm. some wriggle room but not much.
The only “problems” with this vehicle are as follows. It got keyed when I re located to the city. I have been told it could be buffed out. The horn mechanism is being re built at present and it is due for a valve cover replacement. There are also some very minor cosmetic details that could be addressed without much problem. This is full discloser. That is it. And these items are very small.
A very fun vehicle as you all know.
breaks my wee heart to have to let it go but alas!
