How many tabs did you break off on the removal? Something about aged plastic. I snapped off 3 or 4 on each side, so now Im going to fab up some panels and cover them with Vinyl to match the doors. Post some pics when you git er done

I think I broke at least two tabs on each panel, which I tried to mitigate by serreptitious applications of Tuck Tape in various spots. I can't remember about removing the top, I recall there was a screw hiding behind something, so if you haven't removed any screws, keep looking.

Screw locations: middle, middle-lower, right-lower, left lower. The remainder of the hold is provided by the screws in the curtain rail. Also, the two outer-lower edges are held in place by plastic snaps: slide the panel upwards when removing, don't try to pull out the snaps (they're not supposed to come out).
So, with those four (4) screws on each side, the only other things is that it's waaaaaay easier to remove the side panels if the rear seat is not in the way (it's a two-person job to lift it out of the back, unless you're a brute like me). I just pulled my two side speakers out because I changed the upper-rear speakers (too much sound blasting onto the children).
Later on I intend to put some 6x9s up in the rear roof and move the 4-inch ones I have there now to the front. Then it will be new speakers all around (except for the side which I will leave removed). When I camperise the Moon Machine, I don't want those ones there.
Are you exchanging or removing?
