instrument pod removal

Post by glenn »

OK, here's another potentially dumb question - " how do you remove the instrument pod?" I did a cursory search here and came up with nothing. How much of the dash has to come apart to get the pod off. My daughter's tooth came out while we were on a road trip, and I put it on the dash to save it for the tooth ferry. Well, it fell in behind the pod and disappeared. The only way I can see to get at it is to remove the pod. Any help would be great.

Luckily, the tooth ferry was able to recover it and still give my daughter her loonie, but I would still like to get it out of there if I can.

Thanks
Glenn

It's actually really easy to do... but I learned the hard way. Here's a link.

Just don't do what I did. The correct instructions are in that thread too.

awesome, thanks! I knew the answer would be here somewhere, it's hard to know what to search for sometimes.
